Elder Patriot – Whether Seth Rich was WikiLeaks source for the DNC emails has been the subject of much conjecture since he was murdered, as he was preparing to meet with the F.B.I.
The situation has grown even murkier as the man who oversaw a team of forensic psychologists that developed a profile of Seth Rich’s killer has allegedly tried to kill the man who hired him lead the profiling effort.
Kevin Doherty, a former Marine, led a team of forensic psychology graduate students at George Washington University in developing a profile of Rich’s killer. The group completed their work in late June of 2017.
Today, Doherty sits in an Arlington, Virginia jail accused of using of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of malicious wounding, of the man who had retained him to lead the profiling effort.
That man is Jack Burkman. Doherty is alleged to have shot Burkman twice and then attempted to run him over twice.
Burkman was said to have moved on from investigating Rich’s murder and had turned his attention to Hillary Clinton’s email scandal over the past several months. Specifically, Burkman had offered a $25,000 reward for any F.B.I. whistleblower willing to offer him evidence proving the bureau deliberately mishandled the Clinton email investigation.
He also had a similar reward waiting for any agent who offered evidence that the F.B.I. deliberately avoided verifying the Russia dossier and knowingly used it as the central piece of evidence before the FISA court.
Rich’s death was initially described as a robbery gone wrong. That was almost immediately debunked when private investigators became aware that Rich’s wallet, watch, and cell phone were still on him when his body was found.
Rich was murdered nearly two years ago and we still have no explanation. There also appears to be a reason why:
Why doesn’t anyone charged with solving Rich’s murder want to talk to a person who claims to have evidence that may solve the mystery?
It’s hard to know what to make of these new developments at this early stage but it is suspicious that it never ends well for anyone who gets anywhere near emails that involve Hillary Clinton.
